Autobiographical writing is probably the bravest and the dumbest thing that I have ever attempted.
All at once, your heart is penned down on paper for all to see. Bits and pieces of your very private self, exposed.

Wide open to scrutiny.

Preying eyes and minds exploring your history, your roots, your journey, your struggles, your hurts and your triumphs.

Some will love it. Some will hate it.

In all fairness to you, the reader, I need to warn you that this book is not for the fainthearted. It has been written with raw candour. I have purposefully chosen to be open and honest about the brokenness in my life and to be as real as possible about some of the things which I have experienced. If I cannot make you understand the pain that was a part of my past, you will never be able to grasp the miracle of the Divine opportunities which I have been given, enabling me to embrace the process of liberation.

You can take me or leave me, this book isn't actually about me. It is about something beyond me. Someone bigger than me. Someone who far surpasses my existence on this temporary planet.
My goal, my only motivation for writing Unwrapping Lazarus, is to make known the redeeming love of a Saviour. To show forth the grace of a Father. To publish the healing fellowship of a Spirit who is Holy.

If it were up to me entirely, I would rather choose to hide all the personal spaces in my heart from the printed page. But I am compelled to share with anyone who would care to read this, the journey of healing and restoration that my Lord, Jesus Christ, has taken me on.

His hand, His truth, His guidance, that is what I hope you will find wrapped up in these pages.
And just in case you were wondering, no real names were used throughout, in order to protect the identity and reputation of others.
